Home Made Meal Delivery Service

Want to dine out but need to stay in? Cook in Melrose offers the perfect solution with a home made meal delivery service. There are three menus to choose from (Everyday, Luxury and Taste of the Borders). In addition a tailor made menus option is available on request. The food is delivered in disposable containers and salad, vegetables or rice are iincluded.  The price includes 1 main course and either 1 starter or 1 dessert.

Everyday Menu  £18 per person  (minimum 4)

Luxury Menu £25 per person  (minimum 4) 

Taste of the Borders Men: £25  per person (£3pp supplement for Borders platter/cheese platter (minimum 4)

Please note mileage charge for deliverery-45p a mile

Everyday Menu

Choose 1 main course and either 1 starter or 1 dessert.


 Home made fishcakes, side salad and aioli

Vegetable bhajis, spicy onion and cucumber raita

Soup of the season and crusty bread

Hummus, tzatziki, olives and pitta bread


Main Courses

Beef ragu served with pasta or made into lasagne served with salad

Vegetarian lasagne served with salad

Beef or vegetable Chilli served with rice or flour tortillas, sour cream and guacamole

Shepherds pie (lamb)

Steak and ale casserole

Barley risotto topped with marinade feta

Fish pie

Coq au vin

Roast chicken pieces served with saffron, hazelnuts and honey

 Eyemouth fishcakes, choose from haddock and leek, smoked haddock or salmon

Cullen Skink (classic smoked haddock and potato soup)

Borders Beer and beef casserole

Navarin of Lamb served with honey mustard mash
